Oh, i love love love montessori services and for small hands! I'm also a fan of Montessori based learning and books related to that. It made me see differently, more clearly, and was my first introduction to the Montessori Method. I also like a couple of the "at home" montessori books -- "how to raise an amazing child the montessori way" is a fun one, though i loathe the title. When I first put it together, I only had 5-10 items in mine but How to Raise an Amazing Child the Montessori Way recommends between 50-100. Some of the activities suggested for babies aren't always realistic but I enjoy knowing more about ways of developing my baby girl's potential. How To Raise An Amazing Child the Montessori Way was one of the first parenting books I read which really resonated with me. Otherwise, I have found the book 'Montessori From the Start' to be excellent for the 0-3 age group. Inspired by the gorgeous photos in “How to Raise an Amazing Child the Montessori Way' by Tim Seldin, hubby built a great bookshelf for our living room, and we use it for darling daughters 'everyday' toys. I remember when I first started researching and learning about Montessori, the whole play room/toys was the hardest part to grasp. I would like to read Love and Logic but haven't purchased it yet. 'How to raise an amazing child, the Montessori way' is another good one for ideas on how to set up your home. Stella had a fun time exploring and sat there for almost 40 minutes!
